Nine years of growing Brisbane gardens

Greenhaven Landscaping began in Paddington in 2017 with a mower, a trailer and a landscape design diploma. The early maintenance rounds taught us something no course could: which plants actually survive a Brisbane summer, which timbers cope with the humidity, and what Queenslander gardens need to stay beautiful without becoming a second job.

Today we design and build complete outdoor spaces — gardens, decks, retaining walls, irrigation — and we maintain many of them years later. That long view shapes how we build: a garden should look better in five years, not just on handover day.
